hey guys... my insurance want to know my engine number .... do any of you know where that may be ?
i know my chassis number is on the metal plate just to the left of the engine but no idea where the engine number is ????

Wow, I'm away for a couple of weeks and the mighty non-cupra thread goes flying past the 1000 mark!!! ha!
Don't think mentioned on here but just before I went away I got my insurance sorted... just over £1000 from adrian flux and that was telling them ALL my mods and on my own policy with no no-claims and being 19! I was pretty chuffed with gettin that!
And talking of mods... I've now had my beast lowered, not gone the full whack, just cheap springs someone was selling on here ages ago, makes hell of a difference though, feels tons better!! Will get pics up asap!
Oh and adam I think our engine code is AUD or something like that, it's got 3 letters and an A in it somewhere. lol. Why does your insurance want your engine code though??????

except im paying £386 .. anywho.. since i have a modified car, they sent me a form to fill out and at the top of one of them states:VEHICLE DETAILS

all my mods declared as well and i just put coilies on mine

im on the phone to them at the moment so will query it

yeah I had to do all that Adam. Make sure u fill it out and with every detail as what u said on the phone to them, I had mine send back as I said something sightly different apparently! They thought I said I had a front splitter when I haven't, but a good excuse to get one now!
yep i said i had a back box but forgot to write it in there. so they sent it back lol
