yeah.

downside i guess is petrol and taz cost!!!

DERV would be cool, but I love Mk3 so much, it'd have to be a 1.8t lump

lol

I've had my Mk3 since 18 (2 months before turned 19) and always paid around £650 insurance for TPF&T. Renewed in Feb and now paying about £450 Fully Comp. Whilst at the Insurance Brokers, I got a quote on a Mk4 FR PD130 and price was about £2 a month more than I'm paying now. Couldn't really afford a decent FR tho, and TBH, I don't think they look as nice as the Mk3! Was only considerin it because of a) fuel economy b) cheaper to insure then a Mk3 cupra

Whilst at the brokers, I got a quote on Cupra and cam back with over £1k! Can't believe, 3months on, and I get a quote of 630!!!

Really want the cash for one now. I reckon Petrol would be same as I'm using now, it's just the tax that would sting me (and if I have sensible head on, any repairs would cost more than now, i'd obviously catch the "tuning" bug)

Oh well, Euro tonight!!!!

come up to middlesbrough and we've got a deal :cartman:

Pay for fuel there and back

ordered front aero wipers :)

Should I get one for the rear, or de-wiper rear? Is it easy to do?

I have aero on front! they're great.

Dewiper the rear like I did! Easy enough to do. 2 (maybe 3+) screws holdin boot lining on. undo them, then pull. pull hard! I fell over lol.

Then a spanner to undo bolt on arm. Should pull out. May need force. I used a hammer to tap it through lol

Make sure you disconnect the pipe in the engine bay so you don't accidently squirt water in the boot lid ;)

do front aeros not screech like old ones do? Even if its p!ssing it down it'll still manage to squeek against glass, annoying!

Hmm Ill give rear some though, but needs somehting ding, starting to realise how rubbish standard wipes look lol.
