what car is it from mate ?
you would need a reducer too as that looks like 2 inch pipe maybe 2 1/2 inch hard to tell from the pic.

Looking at it i'd say know. It doesnt have mounts, or if that thing is a the front there wrong, and cant see how that piping would ever fit. Not 100% sure though but nearly...

For the ibiza the section after the backbox should go up, then along and then to the right. That piping looks too short and the wrong shape.

If you know a custom place though i'm pretty sure exausts can always be bodged but it's probably more trouble than its worth

and unfortunatley i don't know any custom places, 99.9% of time anything i do to my car i try and do completely myself. don't like getting garages involved etc. just means more money and more hastle!

since the guy says stainless still instead of stainless steel could indicate a lack of spelling....

back on topic with the back box, yes it will fit but you will need to get a hanger attachment made up for you. also the back section of the box will need a reducer made up and it deffinatly is far too big for a standard 1.4 exhaust

if thats the case.. dont touch it, you will need some one who is good at welding/fabrication to help out (unless you have all the tools yourself)

Ah right ok. So you reckon i'll be better getting a back box specifically made for 1.4?

Does anyone happen to know any cheap websites which sell custom back box's / exhausts for 1.4?

As you can prob tell, being a student money is big issue for me, lol, the cheaper the better for me :D

ANY back box will fit if you have the skills ;)

My mate did mine, got reducer, made customer brackets, and bammm. Sorted!

I'd get a custom one done mate-just take it somewhere and tell them what u want doing and come back few hours later and its done. You'd be looking at about £150 everything included but should get a lifetime warranty, and any probs just take it back and tell them to sort it. Worth it imo!

looks alright, keep an eye on the bidding. Aslong as ure ok fitiing it yourself, otherwise it'd cost u more to buy one then pay someone to fit it rather than have a custom one made and fitted.

Seems to be only sorted by replacing the clutch... If you are a dab hand at it, they are about £65 for a new one.

My clutch only seems slightly stiff in the winter or when really cold, apart from that it's fine! I suppose it's a bit heavier than other cars i've driven, but nothin to worry about!

when i get in my mates audi A3 i slam the clutch to the floor because i so used to the heavy clutches on the ibiza....

the clutch on my 1953 MG TD is lighter than the one on my ibiza!
