cold side dv kit

Tottal different shape to the forge pipework setup, it has two bends in it as standard which go to a hard pipe as part of the SMIC.

its beacause the fmic hose is a short elbow...that pipe would be too long.

all i did was to buy a new elbow and cut that down to fit the t-piece so that i still have the original forge one intact if i want to swap back.

Ill try and get a few pics of how it is now and exactly what i used....you could get all the bits from siliconhose.com

You havent really tho have you rogers, you've had a take off pipe welded on to your fmic pipework instead of using a t-piece.

Ive got cold side aswell. when i bought forge fmic, i just said to them i had it and they supplied the fmic pipe with dv outlet for me at no extra cost.

You will need the following:

1x 45 drgree elbow in 60mm

Exactly what i done above with my fmic. Was a complete pain in the arse, the t-piece kept blowing out on full boost.

Looks a lot better with the Split R tho as its the other way round to the 007. :D

strange...not had any probs with pipes blowing off...i would thought i would with so many joints....i know what you mean phill about it lookin a tad messy though..was thinking of ways to tidy it up.

you dont have to relocate the dv with the cold side kit, my split r is plenty loud so i just left it where it is, runs alot colder now. ill get pics tomorrow to dark the now

I know the split r is loud where it is but i want it on the cooler side of the engine bay and ive just fitted a golf tip so need to move the tip to stop future maf problems as its already not dumping right as its going straight past the dv an out through the filter.

Be sorted monday tho
