just remove the arm, then screw it to loosen it a turn at a time and test.

just logged actual vs actual boost

im seeing 2300 mBAR requested!!!

why would it be doing this? does it just need boost turning down on map?

Cheers

yes, and subtract atmospheric pressure from this number and you get actual +ve pressure (gauge)

like m0rk says 1.3bar

no biggie there is there

could this be due to my wastegate not opening enough then? maybe my actuator needs extending?

ive yet to play with the adjustment...wanted to log 1st!

is there any other blocks i should log 1st?

that doesn't mean it's not working though......

scaled MAP sensor in the ECU

as Bill pointed out, and you've so far ignored - unless it's all the same stuff (not similar stuff) then it's hard to draw comparisons against someone elses setup.

if the MAP is reading differently to your boost guage, one of them is wrong.

MAP sensor if std one is 2550mb max, so wont read anything higher.
Mines still running like this but runs an actual boost level higher... as thats how its been set by CC for me.

I would rather run 3bar map sensor personally to see actual boost, but my control is apexi these days, and my mappings well hacked to work with my spec, so not really comparitive to road car.

logging n75 to see if its trying (but failing) to pull back duty cycle to lower boost, but maybe failing.

What could be happening is boost creep, which is wastegate failing to bleed out excess pressure/flow, hence it runs away once spooled no matter what you do to try and control.

Trying to diagnose via forum is impossible however.. We dont know the full story and you have clearly been trying and changing all sorts of things.

mork ive not ignored it just been trying to work out what else may have been different! so far ive yet to find anything!

yea its standard map sensor and spoke to jbs and they said its been mapped to run standard one!

any way of testing the actuator if its boost creeping?

thanks for the help guys, im sure your fed up of helping me now...its all much appreicated tho :):) ;);)
