Hooch, to get a heavier feel from the steering remove the oil resrictors from the PAS return line, they are held in place by what looks like a random hose clip in the iddle of the pipe.

Cant remember if there is 1 or 2 of them. Remove the pipe at bottle and squeeze them through.

the problem isnt just the weight of the steering matt. its also the way it randomly steering. you really need to hang on for dear life!


had a rather scary overtaking moment at 120mph. not driven it since

Can you not exchange it for another rack from the range. I know us Golf's can swap for the TT rack as it's more direct, less turns from lock to lock.......

what wishbones? overlong ones still? static geo wont pick that up, bump steer, scrub radius, caster change (if any)

all i know is my camber is 1degree neg

and the place that done it are a porsche repair centre and set up alot of track cars

where you mention elsewhere of handling/steering issues you have to ask the question, especially when previously you fitted wrong wishbones and said they were ok... when clearly they could not have been and when mines >500bhp and has none of your issues

you can see where i was coming from question wise
