Some say that you would be runing max on 100pd injectors but i got no conclusive evidence on this. I only put mine in cause they were a steal. Speak to Pete at Bell Auto Services on here who does mapping. IIRC he deals with some European companiies that play with PDs - he told me that you didnt need the injectors to get the power. However, it would beg the question as to why does the ASZ engine have different injectors.

The max flow rate of a PD130/160 injector is about 71mg/cycle compare that to whatever a PD100 injector is. Everyone i have ever known that uprated a PD100 has put in PD130 injectors and Kerma even sales them as a PD100 upgrade.http://www.kermatdi.com/servlet/-strse-68/NEW-PD150-Injectors/Detail

Mike Im sure that this figure is the amount the ecu can deliver the fuel at and not the actual flow of the injector. All the phoning I made to tuners and speaking to Rich W, nobody could tell me the actual flow.

I bet you didn`t speak to Vaughan Smith at AP Diesels who are one of the few companies in England that can pressure test injectors nozzles for flow rate and spray pattern. They can also modify a nozzles to flow whatever rate you want within reason PD or TDI.

IIIRC Bosch were releasing bench testing equipment to agents last year. Good to know we have a Diesel Specialist in the UK who knows what they are talking about

Hi guy's

I have read over on the tdi club although i'm not a member that a performance cam can give a lot more power from the standard injectors , i believe my husband maybe buying a cam from a company called Allard.

But they havn't released them as yet , but when they do his golf mk4 should around 245hp reported by Allard themselves.

0A8.A / GUC 6 speed tranny from the Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDi will fit into a Golf MK4?

Anyone know if 0A8.A / GUC 6 speed transmission from the Seat Ibiza 1.9 TDi will fit into a Golf MK4?

The question is are the tranny mounts the same?

I know from the tdiclub, that the DRW 6 speed was a doable upgrade, but I don't know if the 0A8 tranny is the same with just different ratios etc.

Hi Steggg60,
You will get around 180-200 bhp and 260 / 320 lb ft torque. As little torque as possible helps the transmission and as smooth and late in the rpm range helps too.
It depends on how effectively the parts are fitted and remapped

John
N.B It would be a good idea to upgrage the brakes/ suspension
