I ragged that honda at full throttle everywhere i went which was why it eventually died on me. I reckon on average i'm about 60 to 70% better off in this than i was in that, given the performance of this compared to that .... i can't and won't moan.

Just so we're clear here, 3/4 of 4 is 3 times better NOT 4 times better.

I am not and will not dispute that the LCR is faster than a Tdi and i'm quite sure you can get reasonable mpg from anything, what you can't say in all honesty is that IF you use the performance in the LCR that your consumption is 28 to 30mpg.

Going from what I came from, i get at least double the economy and far more performance.

As for me being sarky, no worse than you ;)
Sorry but when I was at school, a 1/4 of something generally meant you divided it by 4 or 25%.... After all you did say a 1/4 of the fuel costs, did you not?
I'm not trying to get into a massive debate about this, i'm merely pointing out, that there's no way a Cupra TDI uses a 1/4 of the fuel of a LCR remapped or standard!
My LCR does do 28-30mpg ON AVERAGE, as I do both town and motorway driving, where as most people generally drive round town and get urban mpg figures. But when I used my mum's Cupra TDI, it was getting about 38-40mpg.. That's all i was trying to get across. So shall we leave it at that. or argue like a couple of school girls all night?? :D

And if you work it out, you'll find that that 180 compared to 550 is roughly what in % terms - i think we got wires crossed and ended up splitting hairs just for the sake of it - mathematical willy wangling ... guess it makes a change from mines faster than yours ;)

Well i could keyboard warrior for days - but thankfully the last bloke that caused that isn't around these ere parts ;)

I really have the agree with my uncle here...you rag a tdi everywhere and you still get amazing mpg. You rag an LCR (like my friend does as he hardly ever drives it) and it goes to 20mpg sometimes less.

Anyway lets not argue :) Phils revo'd tdi is pretty quick!

I am looking at an uprated clutch soon then a custom map so will hopefully be able to improve it even more.
