Just re-reading, do you really want to put new, expensive alloys on when you're learning to drive? I left it a couple of months after I got the car, I ended up scratching 1 or 2 wheel trims in that initial period, but this resulted in me never marking the alloys in over a year of use after that :)

What with parallel parking etc you'd be a hell of alot better on the steelies for a few months.

Just my thoughts

Thanks for the suggestion. That is what I will be doing. I won't be getting the wheels until I have passed my test.
Right now I iwll just get a few accessories.
I don't know how long it will be until I upgrade to an FR or something, so I won't be doing much right now.
At least I will be able to keep the wheels if I do buy an FR.
