£950 for turbo (Turbo+delivery+VAT)
£250ish on fitting (inc gaskets/washers/bolts etc)
£10 on 4bar FPR. (Good old ebay :D )

Although i do expect around £250-300 back for my current turbo when its flogged on ebay.

It says in the instructions to run the new turbo in gently for around 50-70 miles meaning mapping the same day is out of the question, so i wont be getting it CC'd next friday. Im just getting it fitted for now.

I will use current jabba software and turn the boost down until i get it mapped properly. Hopefully jabba can re-remap my car as im not too keen on forking out £650 for CC ph 2. If Mike says no, then ill be forced into CC ph2 so fingers crossed as he did initially say he would map it for me and i havent heard otherwise from them.

I'll leave 4 bar FPR until its mapped properly aswell otherwise ill just feck up the fuelling as it is now

Two results to compare soon then. :)
I still haven't heard anything about mine yet :( .

Its probably in the UK, it just sits in customs for a while until they can be arsed sending you an invoice for the VAT bill.

Mine was sat there for a week before i received a letter:censored:

They're also cheeky[:@] as we shouldnt have been billed extra. I was going to phone up and complain but for the sake of £30 i thought it wasn't worth the hassle.

I was charged £24 vat and a £7.50 handling fee, so nothing worth bothering about really.

I shouldnt have been, as lets just say the guy at customs must have been blind but i cant be arsed arguing with them for £31.

I think Scott was charged a little more (£40) rings a bell but im sure he'll let you know.

I have no idea why we were charged different amounts as i would have expected the prices labelled on the packaging invoice to have been the same, meaning VAT should have been charged at the same rate on the same figure:confused:

With a piece of kit looking as good as this it would be rude not to get it custom mapped.......look forward to seeing the results these turbo's look like a fine piece of well thought out high quality engineering

So you all fitted now Scotty?

Any difference?

Are you having it mapped later on or are you getting it done today/now?

The timing and boost have stayed the same really on mine. I will be getting it mapped but im going for the diff and new gear set first (will take the LCR to over 200mph!)
Its hard to describe the car now, bearing in mind it was torrential ran the car didn’t feel quicker, more stronger, if that makes sense. Its early days yet as im running her in a bit first but to be honest im more impressed with my short shifter!
