Yeah sometimes happens to me where im sure ive pressed it twice and the missus is there trying to get in whinging at me that ive not done it properly

I dont think you can do it with just 1 press!

I have no idea on why you would want to switch the deadlocks off but that is what 2 presses does along with disable the alarm motion sensor. Is it perhaps so if you locked someone in the car, they could get out?

I thought operating the door handle twice would disconnect the deadlocks as it does normally?

You can do it with one press, my Cupra would open all doors with one click. You need a Vag com to make the change though.

If you pull the handbrake while ABS is engaged the ABS warning light will come on and TCS and ABS will no longer function (until you restart the car)

Mine either, i know for a fact is doesnt as when i picked it up the dealer forgot the diesel so we drove to BP and he filled it up, i couldnt get teh cap to open until i took the keys out of the ignitions, i also thought 2 presses on the fob meant deadlock on, what does having them off mean?


Is there any way in HELL i can get the stupid car to open all doors with one press its a complete faff. EVERY time i get in the car and sure i have pressed it twice i get my gf trying to open the door and she cant get in. Or if i park and get out and try to go in the back for a bag or something, again the dam doors locked and i have to go bavk and press the button the drivers door inside.

Tyre pressures and Fuel types for your LCR are on the inside of the fuel filler cap.

I would recommend putting new tyres (scrubbed in first if poss) on the rear of the car not the front

i couldnt explain on here really, other than it is somehow more "asian" i dont want to upset anyone or mean anything by it but the reaction to it has always been laughter...

With rear recaros it effectively makes the car into a 4 seated car! The middle section houses a little glovebox that folds up into the seat as well as being a central armrest.
The rear seats can be folded down completely flat to give a large boot space.

Never knew about the service manual slot under the steering wheel either

Oh here's another 1 i learned, in the event of an impact where the airbag deploys, the doors will automatically unlock and the fuel pump shuts off

I have the beeps when I lock. Mainly because my indicators refuse to flash, even though they are set to in vag com.

If you have a nokia hands free kit fitted and the factory fit sat nav, when you are on the phone the radio mutes, but the instructions don't. This is very confusing if you are trying to give someone directions while on the phone!!!!
