Without having a quick peak, I can never remember which button opens the petrol cap and which one turns off ESP!

Also, LCR's have the most optimistic low fuel warning beep and light ever, when it first gives a warning it says you have about 25 miles left until empty but within about two miles it tells you it was just kidding and you have now only got 5 miles or 0 miles to find a petrol station!

i have done about 10 miles on "0 miles" left before!

I have actually tested it to its max on more than 1 occasion and yes both times running out of fuel about a mile before the petrol station:redface:

1st time i got 27 miles from it when computer said 0 and 2nd time i got 24 miles out of it when computer said zero hence why i done it the 2nd time:doh:

I would say as long as you keep revs below 3000rpm, your 0miles showing on computer is good for another 20miles at least.

Well from my own evidence it is:)

sounds about right to me mitch... reason why i only did 10 miles on "0" is because i found a petrol staition! otherwise i would have done more miles on an "empty" tank! ;)

actually, this is worked out on your driving
the computer uses the last 30 miles (i think) of driving to calculate whats left

therefore if you drive sensibly then it will tell you there is a lot more in the tank when you get the warning light

lol no offence but thats is obvious! ;)

ok i did not know it uses the mpg from the last 30 miles... i assumed it would have used the mpg from the current trip to work out how much was left in the tank!
