Well it's been a while since i updated this and despite my best effrots to save and not modify my car i've failed slightly (although most of the bits i bought before the incident last month).

Latest modifications are some new sidelights, the previous ones courtesy of Danny were great, but just a little too green for my liking so i went with some 4 LED ones..... which despite being white look very blue with my camera lol!

On the same lines i thought i'd get a better picture of my previously fitted HID's.

And my boot lighting.... with added boot clutter lol!

And the latest endeavour of some ambient footwell lighting. The colour choice is a bit odd i realise but in time most of it will be blue so bare with me. :)

Now i just need to get my exhaust fitted and finish some maintenance and all will be good. :)

Yeah it's all fixed mate, runnig like a dream now. :)

Well i think this deserves an update, i haven't had much time for pictures lately but i'll take some tomorrow night i think. Just a few mods though, the most noteable being my Supersprint Cat-back exhaust!

Quiet as anything! But a real pleasurable addition to the car. :) It feels a little more responsive and has a nice burble on tickover.

I've also replaced the green panel filter and smoothed airbox for a universal cone filter (one of the heatshielded ones, probably from halfrauds lol!) and a custom made aluminium heatshield to keep that engine heat a little more at bay. Coupled with a partial cold feed it meant i got a quite goot time at Santa Pod Ultimate Street Car last weekend:

1/4 Mile - 15.333 seconds @ 89mph.

More mods to come soon, stay tuned! :)

Phoenix's Project Blueshift...

Well the name 'Project Darkside' was originally aimed at the idea of getting a PD150 and 'stealthing' it but as i got a Cupra my colour scheme kinda changed, so.....

Behold...... Project Blueshift!

A better idea i think.... a black base with blue detailing. :)

Thanks for the comments though, it's nice to see i'm doing something right lol! :D

Gez, i have to agree with the maintenance, and as well with going quiet on the modding front...... i really should concentrate on paying the car off, once that's done there's a serious issue to be sorted.....

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP! :)

Right then, after a little exchange of products with Mr Adam 20vT last night i now have a bigger cone and cold air feed pipe! What a pain it was to install but the end result i think looks okay, and sounds even more louder than it did before lol!

Before with my ghey universal cone and custom aluminium heat shield:

After with the new piping:

The performance is there and even after a hard run that pipe is still cold as ice! :) I love it! Cheers Mr Adam!

Oh and a close-up of the exhaust too:

Now to fit my puddle lights..... then what next? Lol!

It has mate, but to go with the 'theme' of the car i'm doing a complete internal light conversion to BLUE. :)

I got the bulbs through the other day, i'll fit them next week. Then i need to save for those big power mod's! :)
