Wing Mirror Plastics and Colour Code Help :)

Hello all

I have a ding on one of my wing mirrors, got a guy who is gonna sort it - just wondering if the painted plastic piece actually clips off? I've tried removing it without damaging it but had no luck. Is this just clipped on and if so what is the easiest way to remove it?

Also the guy wants to know the colour code and the name of the colour - I have a black 55 plate leon cupra r (sorry if this one has been asked a million, I have searched)

for your colour code just lift the carpet in you boot and you'll see a sticker with it on.

For you wing mirror the surround does come off. Mine came off by pulling from the bottom of the glass

I've tried getting it off but no luck - had a flat blade underneath and it is just damaging it grrrrr
