Wing mirror removal

Does anyone have a guide for removing the wing mirror?

The plastic body has smashed on mine.

I think I've seen a video for the Mk3 where the door card is removed and then the wing mirror is removed from the inside? Guessing its the same/similar process for Mk4?

The closest thing I can see on YouTube for a mk4 is this for a Formentor but pretty sure they are same wing mirrors as the Leon. It's in Italian I think lol but hopefully the video of the removal process might help....

Does anybody know if the Cupra Leon wing mirrors are the same? Or if there's any ID markings that I can find on the wing mirror so I can check if they're compatible?

Yeah they're the same as the Cupra Leon and Formentor

The one I've found is heated whereas my current one isn't.

It's a lease car so I'm not sure what to do as it wouldn't be a like for like replacement.

the wiring would be different but only slightly, I thought all the cars had heated wing mirrors at this stage though, I had the worlds most basic Ibiza in 2015 and even that had heated mirrors.

Well after almost 4 years of having the car I have discovered I do have heated wing mirrors.
