How to replace a manually adjustable wing mirror?

Greetings everyone!

My Seat Ibiza 6J wing mirror got smashed so bad that I have to replace it. The wing mirrors are manually adjustable. Online I find only videos and instructions of replacing an electronically adjustable mirror, so I'm now asking for advice.

My problem is, how do I disconnect the broken mirror's cable from the adjustment joystick ,and how do I then connect the new mirror's cable? I have partially removed front door panel to get access to cable connection (see picture 1). Maybe I have to remove the screw (marked with red arrow) to proceed?

On the interior side, I removed plastic cover for joystick (picture 2), but seems that there's nothing to do on that side.

I would really appreciate any advice!

not sure about the manual but the automatic you need to fold it and unscrew the bolt on the outside, the bolt is only visible with the mirror folded.

I got instructions from Erwin and managed to replace the mirror. I share my experience here, hope that it's helpful for someone else.
1) Remove door panel partially , instructions in Youtube eg
(after you have detached the lock, you can move the panel enough to access mirror cable connection, so no need to completely remove the panel).

2) detach the joystick cover and the joystick itself. Pictures

3) Remove mirror cable by pulling it hard enough (see picture of the cable connection in my original post)

4) On the exterior side, detach the mirror by opening torx 45 screw, eg youtube

5)Pull out broken mirror+cable. When you insert the new mirror+cable, check that the cable doesn't hinder window regulator mechanism (after you have connected window glass to the regulator, check that you can fully open the window)
