More than likely! :cartman:

The insurance DID come down a bit this year... but that's because my 10 points came off

What have you been doing then?

You have probably read my posts about it but mine has come down at least half since i was 20 and had my first cupra (i have changed Insurance companies but i know that my old one quoted me something similar to what im paying now as i considered going back to them when i got my second cupra last year)

I moved from Stoke to Telford ... and it came down .. then my points came off and it went down again. Think it's about £400ish for me now... But that IS a 110 Upsoluted TDI ;)

I pay about £79 a month now, think it works out to be just under £700 a year and i have 2 years NCB and a claim just over 3 years ago now!

Yeah see im 23 (wont go down that much until im 25 i wouldnt have thought), i have no idea if my line of work makes it go up or down, i have been driving for 6 years but only have 2 years NCB (nearly 3 years) and have no idea if my postal code makes it go up or down?

I see what i pay as quite reasonable now so im not really that bothered! Although if it went up i may not be ok with it

What would be a good postal code area?

I think if you say anything to do with computers your premium goes up.

Having said that... these blood sucking leeches put your premium up no matter what you say you do :w4nk:ers

I have always found that IF they will insure your car.... TESCO are good. Took me a week to pursuade them to cover me and my Jap imports, but it was worth it! :funk:

I dont see the relation to working in IT and a higher premium? Is it because your more likely to be using your laptop than driving the car?

Like i said in one of my posts, i heard that Air Hostesses Insurance went down becasue they dont travel as much but i would have thought it should be higher as when they do drive they are completly incoherent! I know i was after a flight

I cant remember exactly but i think mine was on about 46,000 when i got it last March and its on 58,000 now so i would say 12,000 a year average is right for me (obviously if my memory is serving me right)

the mileage between 8k and 10k doesn't make any difference really - when i had my first car - i was workin near to home and had bf near to home so thought 8k would be ablut right - then he told me he didn't like my car so i dumped him ;) started seeing someone miles away and found i would run out of mileage...so i rang up my insurance company and they just made me pay an admin fee of about a tenner to change my documents.

And tesco are pretty good - they wouldn't insure me in my first year of driving - and the second year i got insured it went down by 800 quid. 25 should make a difference - i put in a sample quote with my insurers - changing my date of birth and how long i'd been driving and it brought it down by a coupla hundred :)

there is a website where u can check ur postcode *goes off to find it*
