Just a trip to the hand car wash after work.
But tomorrow i will mostly be doing an emissions test on my car under mot conditions to see how the new 200 cell sports cat holds up.
Will report back.

I have a 200 cell sports cat on mine, it has passed its last 2 mots with it, but they are a pain, need too be nice an hot before going in. Mine needed a couple attempts to find the sweet spot but my mot bloke is sound and got it through, most can't be bothered to do it he said. Good luck

Spent a couple of hours cleaning the engine bay and modifying my engine cover - ever since fitting the strut brace the cover never fitted
So measured and marked before slicing a section off

Sanded & smoothed the edges, have it a good clean then painted the I with red enamel paint (3 coats)

Fits and looks just right

Looks good but does it rattle now?
My pd had one of those rubber bungs missing and it did my head in on idle.

What kit did you use on the headlamps?
Ive got a slightly frosty one.

So cleaned with Bilt Hamber Surfex HD, polished with CarPro Ceriglass + pad on Das6 polisher x 3 times, cleaned again then 3 layers of Meguiars Ultimate Paste Wax and buffed off with MF cloth.

Bane of my life that engine cover. The insulation disintegrated, so stuck on some really thick stuff, only for that stuff to detach not from the cover, but from the adhesive, so now I have loose foam and the adhesive is stuck fast to the cover.

Have been meaning to pick up some silver covered stuff from eBay and see if that works, but every time I measure the cover to get the right size, I end up doubting my measurements and don’t buy any.

Yep, I ripped mine off ages ago.
We use insulation foam at work (high temp stuff) so gonna try a bit of that and see if it’s ok

That foam does absolutely sod all to reduce the clackety ole racket the PD engines make so I personally wouldn't waste my time and money trying to replace it.
Silent coating the bonnet would be more effective if you're aiming to reduce engine noise.
