I know what you meen mate, looks like an adult with kids shoes onActually drover her today!
Mondeo caliper let go and the tt had oil light on.
Not before I had to swap the wheels at 5am had the rally tarmac tyres on and they do not like damp.
Don't really like how the wheels look they look lost and they're 17s but have stupid stretched tyres. and it's silly low even though got arch gaps.
Only bought them for the slicks though so will be OK.
Good job I hadn't started pulling lump for the rebuild.
Moral of the story is have a seat for your daily....

Me and a friend spent 4 HR peeling the side strips of the car. Is faded so had to go, I'll post some pics tomorrow of progress. Est 6hr left...then the glue...another 2hr then polish...it's black so 10hr lol. Not the best time with a cupra but the end result should be amazing. Think I'm going to keep this cupra TDI.

New thermostat to try and solve overheating and lack of flow. Still exactly the same, suspecting that whoever did the timing belt last either didn't replace the waterpump or replaced it with another plastic impellor one.
Used boiling hot water in the end, after a few seconds of that it was off. Shame we spent hrs doing it wrong and left glue behind for me to get off at some point.Leon Life right there.

Had the same problem with the after market ones. Either new locking nut or oem ones painted lolI am still on really dull jobs since buying the car. Todays one was to remove the old trim that had gone brown between a pillar and dash. Unusually all went well and nothing broke. The second job of fitting the new wheel nut caps didnt go so well, regular nuts fine but locking wheel ones were way too big and loose.

What did you decide on the rear suspension in the end?Still not touched the car yet.. Still sorting out the workshop. Painting the floor. As soon as it's done. Car is comming in and then remove all the suspension and every thing. Have a mock fit of all the fibreglass and make all brackets etc then its primer ... flat it back and then finally paint
