old turbo is off, found out not only my manifold was cracked but also my original downpipe was broken in 2 parts.

Went to a tuning garage here and talked with the guys about doing my muffler. The owner offered me a job on the spot as a mechanic
but I respectfully declined. He said come tomorrow morning and he will give me a lift and tools to use and a welding machine... so that’s cool

thats cool. is the exit of the s3 exhaust at the same place as the leon ?

Meehhhh kinda... the muffler is longer and doesn’t fit perfect, the muffler pipe to mid pipe diameter and location is a little different. And the hangers don’t fit....
So pretty much I have a Heavy suitcase muffler that I need to make custom hangers and have a curved pipe from 65mm to 55mm and it’ll fit. The twin chrome exhaust tips fit in the hole, so that’s good!

turbo fitted. didnt have the support bracket so i had to order that first before could continue.

After cutting off the old hangers and making 2 custom ones and some fancy pipework... we got the muffler on and fitted nicely!

Busy day today!!!!
Gotta love amazon next day prime delivery... needed an air impact gun to take off the front drive axle.
So got the axle off! Replaced the drive boot and refilled the axle with grease! (DETAILED DIY COMING SOON)
Also got an ozone generator and it worked fantastic on the interior it doesn’t smell like old smoke and moldy anymore!
Ripped out the Disgusting seat covers as well!

Lastly.... something weird happened
After putting on the muffler I also repaired a blown off turbo to intercooler hose...
Then When I started the car up again the engine light for the front Lambda sensor went away. And hasn’t come back on again... and the car drives great!
Hopefully the light doesn’t come on at inspection.

Weekly maintenance wash of the missus CX-5 including a quick hoover inside then done weekly maintenance wash on mine. Dried her with my dog dryer 
then stupidly decided to do engine bay clean 
. Had to re dry the front end then cleaned all window rubbers then the windows inside and out. Gave the tailpipes a quick polish then dressed the tyres, ahh time for a big cuppa
Oh and pumped the tyres to correct pressure
