Gave the girl a good practical test of the new software this morning. Spotted my mate on the drive into work. I'd over taken him at the lights in his Mk2 Cupra and had a spirited journey the rest of the way in. Had a laugh in the car park and he asked me what mine was as told me he struggled to keep up with me! :D

Gave her a oil change yesterday and then spent time looking for an extremely small coolant leak...no luck so far, back out there for round 2 in a bit.

Very nice, will they be fitted for the day out at Bedford.

Yes bud. Going on, on Tuesday along with s baffled sump beefed up white line droplinks and control arm bushing that adds .75 degrees of positive castor. So it should all help coming out of corners a little better. If I’m really lucky I will have my seat fitted too. But that’s a big ask as it’s not been delivered yet.
It’s been made and is ready to ship out. Would be ace not to fly about in the old seat. I’m a skinny f....... so regular seat is of no use on track.
I managed to find a corbeau stand at TRAX few weeks back so took advantage of being able to test fit. Also saved VAT by buying on the day.
Fingers crossed it will all be bolted on ready for Bedford.

looking forward to seeing it in action

you should jump in for A couple of laps.
Always welcome to.
think we won’t see you for dust. The diff in the mk3 is shockingly impressive.
I go through the corners way past the limit of suspension and tyres. Over heating fronts and breaking traction before rears begin to earn their money.
It’s fun and noisy but it’s not a quick way round.
I think once I find the limit with the new suspension I’ll be back to my noisy antics need an LSD.
My buds 30 year old CRX is much more together through the twisties but he’s not allowed to wring it’s neck up the straits or he breaks the sound barrier and will be black flagged.

Can’t wait to see your beasty in the flesh.
It will be great fun.
Bedford has huge run off so you can push quite hard and start to find limits.
Here’s a shot of my baffled sump. Courtesy of Oliver Beaumont.
Top man.

Fitted LED side lights. What a faff taking the old ones out! The old tabs had broken off so it was a case of getting some needle nose pliers down the back and wiggling them out. New bulbs are so much brighter though, well worth it.

Yeah the sidelights are a bitch for anyone without hands like a 6yr old girl.

So as some of you may of seen we have a new meet being organised for 5th Jan next year up in Blackpool...

If you fancy joining lots of other like minded people (ill try and act my age and not my shoe size) then head over to this thread and make yourself known. We can then sort you out with details of location etc.

Currently over 10 cars going and we'd love to see more of you fine people!

Any SEAT, stock, modified, old, new... All welcome.

Thanks to @theoldboy for the poster

Battled with a coolant temp sensor that has worked loose and lost all/most of my coolant. Still not managed to get it sat right but ran out of time at lunch. Torch time tonight :(

Great looking steering wheel. I bought the none multi function version of this for my old FR TDI but struggled to find an airbag for it that wasn't blown or hundreds of pounds so eventually sold it on.
