I see you have a Revo map, how's it been for you in terms of performance? More importantly did you need to replace the clutch?
Been toying with idea to get done in March, but the clutch worry is making me think twice!

Yeah, have had it for about 18 months now, clutch has held up ok. Only trouble I had was the turbo pipe inlet on intercooler went, the interconnect is a weak point, they use a stupid clip on system, had to replace pipe and now have 10mm tie wraps clamping the pipes together to make sure it doesn't happen again ! On the plus side you get great performance boost, and a smoother slicker drive ;-).. also as a bonus if driven carefully on the motorway (no faster than 80mph) I easily get 50 - 53MPG ! would have been lucky to get 44 - 47MPG on stock map. If driven hard mpg will suffer as expected !

Sounds very tempting, I have replaced both intercooler pipes with a set of Forge silicones and they were a very tight fit, and thus far holding very well with no leaks.

I also changed insurance company (Adrian Flux), as Direct Line wouldn't insure my car with a remap, you can get away with not declaring it, as a remap can't be detected, but didn't want to risk it !

Hi everyone I'm new to this I have a problem and I'm looking for a little help, my exhaust has snapped this morning and I'm needing to replace the the cat. Mine is a MK1 leon cupra and a single cat I've found one for sale but it's twin cat (standard) is it a straight swap one for one the other or will I need to replace the middle section with the silencer? Any help will be appreciated, many thanks James.

the twin cat setup is from a LCR so wont fit unfortunately. the cupra cat will be the same as the golf and a3 with 1.8t k03s setups

Jump started it as I somehow managed to leave the parking lights on. Wouldn't have been a problem apart from I didn't own any jump leads and I let my gf's dad borrow my charger.

On a related note; after borrowing the gf's car to take the kids out I found out the gf's washer pump is shot, so that's another job on the list. Also explains why she never uses it...

Ever feel like it's one of those days?

Changed oil and filter. Changed Pollen filter, and also thermostat as it was stuck open. Took it for a spin and all is toasty again.

Replaced my seizing alternator pulley, my engine no longer rattles on idle!

Also replaced my worn and rippled steering wheel with a like for like Audi A3 sport wheel with thumb grips.
