Okay I'm a little late, this happened on friday: :drive2:

a 7.5 tonne lorry pulled out in front of me.

End result:

Leon RIP

Car is ruined, thankfully only minor injuries for those involved. I have a Fractured sternum and some bruising

Oh dear mate. Could have been a lot worse though.

problem is over there mate is that even the main roads lorrys are allowed to drive on them as there then only main roads to get from a to b,imo they should be banned from them but that wont happen far to dangerous to be driving on big time.
one time I was on my way home with a girl I use to work with at 3am ish and on a main road (there was only one)and a lorry came right round this corner and give or take 1 m to the right she be a goner when traveling at 50mph or so its going to hurt if your lucky its not like you can avoid them :(

Will get some full car pics tomorrow! No rub tho I did my homework correctly :)

I went from 18's to 17's as the roads are crap around here, it's firm still but a more forgiving ride, I think they look more track focused too.

The difference in steering feel and drive is epic courtesy of lighter wheels, it just feels lighter on it's feet for want of a better term, well happy with em.

Lighter wheels = :1st:

A lot of people tend to overlook this and fit "light" alloy wheels which weigh over 24KG (combo with tyre). I went from 18" Mak Fever 5R with Ultrac Sessantas to 18" OZ Ultraleggera with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres, saved me 4KG per tyre (unsprung weight).

There are plenty on DIYs on youtube. It's nothing fancy, just the courage to split open your headlamps :)

Here is how it looks on the car:

Well worth the risk. Looks really well mate :-o . Although probably wouldn't pass the mot tho. Was it hard getting the levels correct

Well, full Milltek system fitted. Was surprised at the difference in power over stock system straight away. Bit noisier than I was expecting. Looks like the Mrs might notice after all !
