Refurbished my headlights, they were very bad with stone chips, so much so that they looked sandblasted..lol

So 4hours later after working through the grades of wet sanding and an hour or so of polishing the drivers side is done... Looks amazing, just like a new headlight.

Oh yeah the reason it took so long was I was out in the rain and hail and was doing it by hand.

Will do the passenger one tomorrow.. stupid weather.

Not the best pics, I think I will give the drivers side another couple of passes of polish.

Spent another 4 hours in the wind and cold.. and got sooo peed off I shoved it in the garage where it will sit for another week..

gave mine its weekly wash polish and wax, cleaned the exhaust checked the jetex setup bolts were tight all round, vagcom scanned all ok, adjusted the head lamp protector covers to stop one of the clips moving and full tank of vpower

its now rained..

Did the passenger side headlight wet sand and 2hours of polishing.

Started to snow but thought what the hell... power through..lol.

Then decided to wash the car to get the full effect of the shiny headlights refurb.

Neighbours thought I was mental, at least there is more like me on here.. Good work folks

Look loads better needs some nice leds now, and take a pic under the same conditions to show the difference, i have seen this done on a mates car so no the results are amazing.

Lee, what's involved changing dipped beam to LED?
Is it just a straight swap, same connector etc
Oh and what is the deal with MOT with them?
