Fitted TT strut brace this afternoon, if I can share one tip it is magnets! A strip of bendy magnet wrapped round the top of the turret catches all the steel fillings!

I also tried to fit a cold air feed, but after taking everything apart, I decided it was too much like hard work and I have to go to work soon, so smoothed and drilled the airbox and put it all back together!

its night and day when you fit a front brace, handles much better and the car is even more solid, corners better as well[B)]............well better from how it was to start with, should of been fitted from the factory imo.......

I wasn't sure I'd feel the difference, but even on my rapid drive home, everything felt more rigid through the roundabouts. Only complaint is it squeaks! Gonna have to find whats rubbing an silence it!

Gonna be doing a minor service to save myself some cash..all of the above added up to about £70 and my local dealer wanted £139 for a minor service.

First time for everything..

Yeah this was more of a test tbh. I did it with the pump to see how much it would remove then I removed the sump plug to see how much was left...and tbh the amount left in there wouldn't have even filled an egg cup.

Not today........BUT booked in at ****** on Tuesday for a new TIP, heat shielded induction kit and a stage 1 re-map. should make a difference. I keep hearing that I should buy a Seat.Cupra.net sticker to give me some more horses too.......
