Went to an known shop to get my Magnaflow sportscat (200 cells) installed and also let them remove the restriction in the second section of the Toyosports downpipe.

Nelson our little dog came with me :)

What size cell did you get mate and did it cost much to do?, as I'm looking to do this in the near future.

Just got to hope you dont need to change a bulb quickly as it looks like it could be tricky with the enclosure built there

Which is exactly why it's only going to be held there with Velcro and two clips up under the plastic trim, the amp is on a vibe fast plug too

So just undo two clips, pull the plug apart and the whole lot will just come out :)

Lol nah I been wanting to do my idea for a while, then looked into it and found out they used to sell an acoustic stealth box or something but now discontinued.

I bought the vibe sub and amp in its original enclosure/box and wiring kit for 20quid and the mdf was just sitting in the shed so today I started to get to work lol just few changes to do and think I might sound deaden the boot too.

Will be getting an alpine amp and sub once I'm happy with it all, the vibe is just whilst I build it all lol

i should have stuck with a small sub. my stealth box ended up being a big stealth box

i thought it would fit perfectly

but the speaker needs so much air behind it i had to make the box bigger and i still had to stuff it.

u should also sound proof as much as possible. i used flashing tape from B&Q.

Serviced the oil and fitted poly ARB bushes yesterday, replaced V-belt today (just in time)

And found this lovely crack in my windscreen this morning

Does anyone know if those glass replacement people use genuine like-for-like glass with the black edges? And also if they re-use or supply new rubber windscreen trim?

Today's list was extensive.

-Changed the front pads
-Fitted new ABS sensor
-Had all 4 door seals done
-Fitted new high grip intercooler hose clamps
-Checked all the fluids on the car
-Scanned it with vagcom for fault codes.

Today was a busy but very productive day :)

(Yesterday) put all the interior back in the old girl, it's been over a year since she was last in full trim mode! Had a few niggling water leaks to find and fix, some so small/obscure they were a nightmare to find.

How quiet is the car with all the underlay and carpets back in??? Instead of having to have the radio up at 20, we cruised in this morning with it down at 13 lol :D

Yeah mine as the black edges, my trim was re-used

Ah that's ok then, they asked about grey/green tint strip or heated glass but didn;t mention the black edges. Ah right, was hoping they might replace as the one I've cut isn;t very neat and the driver's side is scuffed.

I was going to give you rep for yet another helpful post Lee but apparently I haven't handed enough out to other people yet :p
