@grabania nice work on the upgrades/updates!

I swapped a camshaft position sensor as part of preventative maintenance. Easy to swap out in a matter of minutes. More pics in RR as usual: https://www.seatcupra.net/forums/threads/nd-photo-nl-s-seat-leon-st-cupra-280.477591/post-5076931

Oil change and new Mintex front pads fitted, out for a track day soon to test them under pressure.

Does anybody know the part number of the tool to hold the crankshaft pulley in place whilst replacing the pulley with a Fluidamper one.

@tracktoy I did a similar upgrade on my Mini Cooper S, where I replaced the OE with an ATI Super Damper. Funny thing is, after replacing, the Mini felt slower. But then I looked at the speedo and I was wrong. It felt slower because it smoothed out the ride a lot. Power delivery became buttery smooth and even more lineair (its a 1.6L 4 cilinder supercharged powerplant), I wasnt expecting that.

Fitted the rieger front splitter today. Think it looks really well and was a doddle to fit thanks to this forum. Rieger diffuser went on last week and just waiting for new spoiler to come then I am done on the outside. Next will be an upgraded sound system but going for something better than the seat sound upgrade if within budget.

Hi mate was 210 delivered which came next day which I know is more than maxton however it fits like a dream mate and has all fittings with instructions which the maxton stuff doesn't . The quality is incredible as well mate definitely get it done. I would have probably had to go to maxton to have any stuff fitted from them so if you take into account this the rieger is much better in value

Another great day at Cadwell, testing out the Mintex F4R Pads and very happy with the first performance they lived up to the billing much better than the Ferodo DS2500 (Which are great road and occasional track pads in my view) just got to see if they live up to the length of the old Mintex M1166 Pads (which they no longer make)

With the car being back, I have a stack of parts to fit/upgrade etc and decided to start with the facelift tail lights!

PXL_20250419_145933143.jpg

I wanted to wire them to the BCM so they are codable but I'd need to swap the BCM for a facelift BCM and that is a different project and a beast all of it's own lol! So I opted to tap the wiring and run it from the outer lights to the inners but still prepping for the future BCM wiring so I pinned the junction point correctly.

The end result is a vast improvement on the pre-facelift LED lights!
