Haha good idea!

Yea its pretty simple just make sure its lined up right (i used tape to hold it in place) then drill through the underside of the car using the predrilled holes as a guide.

I only used the nuts and bolts provided in the middle and on each end then used self tapping screws on the rest as it was easier.

I want the Rieger front and side skirts.

I have a chip on the front bumper so will cover it up nicely, just an excuse really haha.

Mine went back to the dealer today to sort rattly doors, I've lived with it for the last 2 years but mentioned it at the service and they agreed to take it back to sort it out, got it back this evening and had a little jaunt around and it does seem the issues been resolved, very quiet now in all but really rough roads. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

I also mentioned that the Sat Nav was rebooting after the car was restarted almost every time, plus the map not always following the car, and getting stuck on the route overview. They said they'd updated the software on the system and when I looked through it did seem less stuttery but when I checked the versions I didn't see any change from the photos I took last year, so not sure, I guess it's just s case of wait and see...

Looking to get this done on mine. Did they give you a courtesy car whilst they did it? You recon i could get it done at the same time as the service?

The rattles? Possibly, mine went in for a service a couple of weeks ago, and I mentioned the rattles and a cold start issue when I booked it in, when it came back they said they'd done a engine software update to fix the cold start issue (which now seems to be resolved) and had identified the issue with the rattles but needed 'parts', more likely they ran out of time. So it was booked in for the 28th.

With MK Seat they drive over to Bedford and pick my car up from work then take it back to the dealer and then return it at the end of the day. Seems to work pretty well.

Somewhere
Washed the car inside and out, treated the paintwork (all panels) with Zortrax Brilliant Shine sealent, polished out loads of scuff marks on the paintwork on the bootloader.

I came back from Leicester on Thursday in early afternoon.

the Motorway was running freely and I averaged 74.9mpg to the point when I left the M1 in the centre of Leeds.

The crawl out of Leeds up the A65 saw my mpg drop to 71.9mpg for the entire journey.

Car now showing a lifetime of 59.4 mpg and I hope soon to hit 60mpg lifetime.

This betters my BMW 320 d ecomotiv at 58.7mpg lifetime over 77,000 miles.

I drive my car on company business and so MPG has a big impact on my running costs over the 3 or 4 years that I run a car.
