Paint sealant, lots of wax and trim dressing are your friends. Muck just slides off with a blast from the karcher.

Added Cortana as a speed dial function so I can use Voice Commands to play music by Title, Artist or Album name then drove to Devon and back just for the ride.

Fitted fan washers and alloys pedals to my FR, both quick changes totalling 10 mins, very cheap cheap from eBay friends in China.

Ima convinced those £14 alloy pedals make it go faster....lol.

Actually yesterday but….

1. Enable needle sweep on start-up.
2. Carbon background on binnacle display.
3. Enable wing mirror tilt in reverse.
4. Actuator turned down to 50%
5. Diff set to strong.
6. Enable lap timer (no real reason, just because)
7. Wing mirror fold on one click rather than holding lock.

All changes carried out by fellow SCN forumite Ocularis; such a gent and the fact I got to check his 5dr Cupra 280 out made it even better! Thanks again.

New boot liner and roof bars and bike rack arrive tomorrow.

Hey JMAC,
Interested to hear how you managed to get a couple of these things done, particularly the single click fold on the mirrors rather than holding the button?

Cheers
Simon

All done by Ocularis and his RossTech VCDS cable/software. I was merely a spectator.

Finally got the replacement wheels from the dealer wrapped in some very sticky rubber. Although there aint a lot of tread on them from new - not sure how they will last but it was more a fun thing than a serious investment.

They now just need a good clean (even though they came off a showroom car!) and then protecting with some Gtechniq C5 but gonna get them on my car asap! :D

Gone for her first service - 18,800 miles in 12 months - on long life - so oil and filter change £179. Also a couple of warranty stuff (some re-calls? apparently) and new wing indicator light (seal gone) - and replace cooling thermostat (error code).
