Think I'll be getting my alloys refurbed when the weather gets better. Unsure of whether to go with the same gun grey colour or more down the black route... Can't decide...

Callipers are yellow now as well.

Went to the local garage where my Cupra is being fixed. It was up on the ramps and the engine was being striped down, ready for the head to be sent away for skimming and testing. It looked quite sad there in bits.
I saw the damage that had been done, the cambelt had been completely shredded on the inside and the valves looked quite damaged :(

I'll be dropping the old air box down for them to fit and I'll then sell the Neuspeed P-flow to make up some money (almost a 2k bill coming)

Took my fr 170 down to local exhaust place and had the backbox removed and a straight pipe put in its place with a new oval tip sounds pretty sweet when on boost and you can barely hear it when driving normal

Drove to Gloucester at 4am this morning! Did my exploring and back home again by 11.30! was nice to drive her a long distance (320 miles in total) tank and 1/4 in fuel, and seeing as i had some fun, full boot and car full too, i didnt think that was too bad!

can anyone confirm what the top end of a Tfsi FR is? i read numerous places its limited to 144 ?...

This is the thing, today i took the FR off the clock, GPS verified too... and i honestly thought it wasnt possible. i have done 135-140 region a few times and never really had the chance to go much more, but this morning i had the chance to just plant it and wait and see...and we were all were impressed.
