My Octavia PD130 I got to 148mph according to the clock, so give him a break.

After using the sat nav speedo to work out the real speed it was about 138mph.

Filled up with v-power petrol.
Took my car down the autobahn today see what I could get out of it.
Some guy in a audi a6 thought he could keep up.
160MPH!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN THAT FAST IN MY LIFE.
Then drove it into my hangers at work parked up next to a CRARRV (MASSIVE TANK) and began washing it for the first time ever.
Need some touch up paint as black isn't the best colour but its gleaming now :)

Hope you've got some serious stopping power if you're hitting 160mph on a public road mate. :drive1:

Bought some Autoglym HD wax in the week and was itching to try it out.

last saturday the car wash washed, polished using Autogym Super Resin Polish and then was finished off with a coat of Autoglym extra gloss protection.

todatm i've washed thew car down (2 bucket method) using a microfibre washmit, dried off and then waxed with the autoglum HD wax.

tyres dressed and then the interior was hoovered out and all the interior plastics wiped over with autoglym Vynal and rubber care:

very inpressed with the HD wax, think the finish speaks for itself:

I also fitted a carbon fibre effect number plate surround on the rear plate

Nice andy bet its hard to get that finish on red without ruining it i imagine!!

Thanks mate. Appreciated.

Took me about 2 hours from start to finish. I was just lucky the rain held off too.

Its p*$$ed it down overnight and i have to say the beading is excellent. Water just runs off it.

Well worth the £44.99

got some carbon fibre wrap Saturday so going to give wrapping the front grill the wing mirrors a go when i get some spare time

Dropped my car off at the local VAG specialist as my Quaife diff is making a noise when at low revs (and when turning left) for some reason! Doing the work on it free of charge, hope its nothing too serious!:(

Sound cheers matey

Yea got the Mrs the lupo and in the space of a week PAS Hose was found to be corroded (£120 with discount plus labour! :( ), rear tyre blew out on dual carriageway taking taillight & bumper (£190 repaired & painted) out with it also requiring to renew RAC at the roadside for £225

Bad times. That was clutch & save towards track tires money :'(
