A bit late also but still on the same weekend i suppose...

I rather sadly squeezed 388 miles out of my R's tank... 6 1/2 journeys to work, well pleased for the mundane commute...

Also watched as the water beaded on my nicely waxed paintwork as well : ) and spent way to long reading all about stage 1 remaps and clutch slipping… really want to do it as too…

Need to get a life I think!

I did say when I started the thread Rob :redface::p

Ideal shamelessly copied from Mk5GolfGti.co.uk...

This would be the place to post anything from a Wash / detail, a race, a new mod ordered or installed, a diy completed, or anything related to your day with your MKV.

**Edit** Not limited to the day of this 1st post, meant as an ongoing thread, few people thinking their post is 'late' lol
I'll start...

Changed my Cam follower;

Europe trip

Drove from north of England to Ypres in Belgium and then to see some friends near Limoges in France and then back home again. The Sat Nav tried to take me on the M18 and I was going to Dover which got me thinking it didnt know where it was going. Fortunately i took my old tom tom with me otherwise I might still have been going round and round Paris.

Went to Ypres a few years ago on a battlefield tour, was very good. Went to Menin Gate and the Somme too. From Rotherham I go up one jct on M18 to come back down. (I think lol, its been a long time)

Well yesterday me and my Leon drove from Walsall to Bradford along the M6 / M60 / M62 etc through some nice scenery, spent an hour in a meeting then drove home again. Gave the car a wash in the evening cause i've neglected her for a few weeks ;)

Then today we have drove down to Hatfield for another meeting.

Still... got to love the 60mpg (56 overall average now) the cars achieved thanks to the 50mph limit on the M1 south of Milton Keynes !

I'll be spending the day working from home tomorrow and then on Friday we and the family (mustnt forget them...) are heading down to Perranporth in Cornwall and a weeks holiday...
