Gave the interior a good clean out and then fitted the Forge DV hose I have had waiting for a while (weather has not encouraged me to go out and sort it!).

Another wonderful experience yesterday....
Had my brakes checked because from looking at them, they didn't look too great. They certainly didn't look like they had been replaced when I got the car 6 months ago. This is what they told me over at the wonderful Sandy Lane dealership in Newcastle.

Well, 6 months after having "new" brakes put on...front discs are worn to bits and pitted. Pads all around are almost worn to the metal....
Love it.

Lesson learned. Next time I get a 2nd hand car, I'll be there during its service. THIEVES!!! They rotten thieveees.
Now I get to spend a fortune on new brakes.
Thank you very much un-named dealership on Sandy Lane! And F**k you.

I managed to reverse my MK2 into a trampoline!! anybody out there give me an idea how much it might cost to replace the boot lid (parts/fitted/painted) just so i can cry myself to sleep a little bit more.. Typical just got the cash back for the injector i paid for and then it got the recall letter..

Made the most of the strange burning ball of gas in the sky today! Cleaned the car, top to bottom with Meguire's and hoovered / polished inside! Took bloody ages as the car was filthy!
