400 is an awesome price for OEM head lights if they were truly just plug and play with no rewiring or whatsoever needed. That's a bargain, congratulations!

Today I got to drive the car as my wife is away for a long weekend

Also, manged to sneek the laptop out and enable the large speedo read out as I generally had no idea how fast I was going as I keep looking at the rev counter

Nah not at all mate, bumper off which is about a 5-10 min job, headlights swap, install the 10 to 14 pin Kufatec adapters and bumper on then coded on VCDS. Pretty simple, an hour tops!

Thanks dude, yes they are 100% genuine and came with genuine bulbs & ballasts. They were plug and play using these babies...
