I stared at it in an accusing manor, Last night the windows kept fogging so I kept turning the Aircon on and off and kept getting a fusty smell... That's new so I was also trying to figure out what it was, at first I thought it was something outside.

This morning I woke up like a bear with a sore head, well I did have a sore head and Ibuprofen didn't shift it.

AirCon Bomb and carbon coated pollen filter have been ordered because my previous experience with Stoneacer means that I regard their warranty as a waste of paper and i'm willing to bet the pollen filter was not changed by them, even though the paperwork from the pre-sale service clearly shows one... It also shows a new tyre which the car never received.

Over the passed few days I've had my roof wrapped, fitted the FlyEye kit to the front headlights and side repeaters and also got carbon fibre sill protectors. Few more things lined up over the next few weeks.

So today I got my new valance in Germany and gonna start cutting it to fit my diffuser tomorrow. gonna do a how to thread in case anyone wants to do it in the future.

Its pretty easy:

Use small self tapper screws ( Dont bother with the pop rivets that are supplied with the kit {If you bought from dealers}) to screw the plastic trim bit onto your original valence ( or a new one)

Then mark out the two cut outs for the exhaust, just draw straight lines from the "arches" on the new trim piece. Then cut them out using a jigsaw or a stanley knife with a saw blade on it. NOTE: This does not need to be accurate whatsoever because the diffuser trim is glued on top, hiding everything.

Then put a bead of silicone/ adhesive ( Tiger seal or similar) { supplied in the kit if bought from dealers}) on the top edge of diffuser trim and bottom edges of the original valence, then put the diffuser trim on top and clamp together or hold together with tape!

SIMPLE!

Then get it sprayed gloss black .....

Then bolt on a Milltek and enjoy!!! BRUUUUUUURR

Fitted new full beam bulbs, car had one popped when I bought it.

Nice to have a car that's straight forward to change, my last two Passat's had been a nightmare!

That looks Stunning. i want to do that to my Fr.

Thanks mate :)

It is much cheaper if you do it all by yourself. A bodyshop quoted me £250 just to put it together, without paint :O

If you didn't want a milltek, I saw a 2nd hand Cupra R backbox go for £99 on ebay not so long ago, so doing it that way it doesn't cost a lot to do the whole conversion :)

£199 for diffuser bits, £80 to paint it, £99 for backbox = £378!

Mmmmm, might not be too long before my Cupra R back box is going up for sale.... (crosses fingers).

Well today a took the rear wiper off and fitted a flush blanking plate - took plenty of pictures so might put a mini guide together in the FAQ.

Also fitted 16 smd reg plate bulbs and they work just fine. So that's my sidelights, DRL's and reg plate lights all converted to LED - now i just need either 5k or 6k bulbs for the xenons.

Will upload pics on my RR thread a little later.

I'll be interested to see the process and parts for getting rid of the rear wiper! :)

Just ordered some of the stainless interior sill guards from Dave at Seremotors.
Meant to be around £110 saves doing them for £60 delivered.
