I thought have a laugh and ordered these LED HB4 bulbs from Wish.com for £10 inc postage for the front fogs. The listing is for one bulb not two.

I'm amazed that they are just fine and I don't get a check bulb warning :funk::bounce:

Them fogs look like they have a big butt... Do they fit in the housing ok as the standard ones have a 90 degree angle on them... Or is that link showing me the wrong pic? I haven't signed up so not sure what's behind it lol

Yeah plenty of room behind the only tight bit was the front of the heat-sink presses on the plastic when twisting into the holder but pushed the bulb with a screwdriver on the bulb tabs and in they went just fine [B)]

Here is where it touches when screwing in at the top of the angled bit of the heatsink.

I wish i was joking but no im not . I was sceptical at the 100000LM claim as we know that isn't going to be true but I will test again when leaving work but tried on off several times and never got an error. Spelling in the pictures is terrible but i didn't care about that not to order.

Got some plug fit decoder/resistors on order from amazon so will see how these go as well.
Which ones did you order? I got some that had gold resistor in the middle... They didn't fit our connectors so I got a refund... Now trying a new set which should be here today lol

Removed the front number plate surround as decided it looked better without. What are people’s opinions on square number plates for the front?

I like square plates but have always thought it would block flow to the intercooler (if only slightly) i see people with mk5 golfs who mount the number plate on the lower grill and block the intercooler , think it's standerd on btcc bumpers mind you.
