What did you and your MK2 do today?

I will be dropping my mk2 in the body shop in around an hr for the rear spoiler to be fitted and picking her back up tomorrow night I have Sat and worked it out today so far in 6 month including buying the car it stands me 11.5K I could have bought the cupra r .

Bought her a Boheme Purple Leon Xcellence which now has Purple Ambient Lighting. As long as the 2nd Cupra is Purple she’d happily allow it lol.

Please don't, I like it without the stickers but as @Jimbobcook said this car stands out from the crowd.
However you have made it easier for me because (as i have a white car) I can now think about a Red strip instead of wrapping the whole car.
When I have saved the money and not spent it on something else that is.

What are you going to replace the Air Ride with, stock or are you going coilover or something else.

Keep it on and save the colour correction you'll have to do and it looks good anyway.

Hmm but accidents happen right?

Haha I like to go once round the car park first and pick 3-4 spaces I like before settling on one. Guaranteed it will be the furthest from the attractions, only allow parking on one side and if possible the paint guy made a horrible miscalculation and it's wider than the others.

I like a car feeling tight to have air and slam it the way it does you have to remove the front anti roll bar and drop links.

Yeah it looks nice low and aired out but im a driver not a poser lol

Well I have taken my cupra (standard) upto 158 mph (satnav) 165mph on speedo....and was surprisingly smooth...now I,ve done it twice and proved to myself that it is possible any time I,m happy ….and with engine on 148.000 its a testament to the 2.0tfsi engines ….

I thought most eu manufacturers limited to 155mph? My stage 1 cupra tfsi run out of puff around 150 so suspect it wouldnt do much more

Grrrr. Even stock my best was 32mpg and that was 200 miles of empty motorway! How did you manage that?

Am going to get a carbon / injector clean (r-tech) later this year... will see if that helps.

My car loves me lol it was single lane roads doing 50 for 60 odd miles... That was zero chances to accelerate with any gusto... Had a chance to listen to all the songs I have planned for the wedding music lol
