Yesterday I drilled into the little white motor box in the passenger door so I no longer have to open the door from the inside... Great guide on here and within a few hours it's now up and running...

Saving £250 a door... 2 Doors left.

Cheers

I was going to do this as both my rear doors would only open from the inside. I started wondering how long this fix would last and ended up replacing both with oem locks

I was in the mind if I could save £250 I'd give it a go and if it died I'd get a new one... I have a rear door to do.

Took me about 10 minutes after doing it once. Just needed to be careful with the drill lol

Cheers

My driver side rear is starting to play up, might have to give this a go as well
As the video on the guide is only for a front door when I get round to doing the rears this weekend I can take pictures of the latches and motor if that helps...

Cheers

Nice eventful day, some little bits done...

Updated the RNS310 to 0351 from 0231

Fixed another dodgy door motor for remote locking (drill + wd40 = working door)

Cleaned out the inside and found some mounts for my samurai umbrella to be fitted in the boot haha

Cheers

Had my dash cam hard wired to the ignition as the 12v doesn't go off and I always forgot to unplug it. Also whilst the guy was out he sorted my hands free kit. Really decent bloke, and can 100% recommend Miller-Tech.

My car is / has become a bit of a shed with it being demoted to tip runs and ferrying the dog about, but hoping the worst of the bad weather is over so this weekend so going to go full OCD clean and sort it out.

The other half (fiancee) has just told me she won't drive my car because she doesn't like the colour (speed blue) as she stands out and doesn't want to be seen haha what do I do?

New car?
New fiancee?
Or be thankful?
