I stumbled on DubSteve's guide (page/post 33/654) via a google search and have to admit I haven't read all 1500+ posts in the thread, but I do have a couple of questions.

- Though this thread is in the Leon Mk1 forum, will the 'door carrier sealant fix' apply equally well to a Toledo Mk2? (Water in both the front and rear driver side footwell.)
- Where would the water otherwise exit, if it wasn't escaping via the door panel/carrier/trim into the footwell?

So, where should the water exit anyway? I don't see any sign of drainage holes in the doors.

should be holes under the door, under the rubber just if the seal on the door is broken it will come past that and sit on the plastic cill and drain into the car, superb design

Do the electrical box aswel, you'll only regret it later, and back to square 1 with wet drivers floor do the bonnet cable area too
