Oh, and i soaked one end of the silicon hose in boiling water for a minute or so to make it more pliable so it slips over the nipple on DV.

feck sake every1 was telling me 3mm and i didnt see forge recommend 4mm.

Thats why i started this thread to find out what one i really should be using as every other thread has something different.

(Shame the search didnt come up with your threads where u have said it before)

Will i get any problems then Myki running 3mm? Should i get some 4mm ordered now do you think?

I run 3mm with no problems...

As do other people i dont see the big difference that 1mm will make.?

Maybe better airflow at a push but not anything i would say you would ever notice.

Perhaps forge could come up with the answer why they recomend 4mm..??

Will run fine on 3mm hoses mate but if you were to start doing more mods which were to do with boost then id grab some 4mm, an when you get a turbosmart dv id use 5mm just for the dv an 4mm the rest

Ok thanks for the reply, im planning to get my remap at the end of the month would u say to change upto 4mm b4 then?

Then its turbosmart time next month payday, you say use 5mm on that but that will be really huge on the end that connects to the engine bit wont it? Would i just use a mini jubilee clip to attach it?

Ah yeh i guess it would depend on where you plumbed in the turbosmart if you use 5mm or not. 4mm will be a tight fit on the top of it an trying 3mm will rip you nails off trying to get that over the turbosmart port. Give us a shout when you get it if you need help cos im like the turbosmart king on here lol
