As above, the one under the front side of the engine that screws on to the inner arches / front bumper. Goes under the gearbox etc etc...

Is it ok to drive without this on? many car's don't have this

Yes you can drive without it, it doesn't hold the gearbox in ;)

yeah but doesnt it shield all the components on the underside of the car from all the **** off the motorway and on the road etc like bouncing stones, half bricks, cats etc lol

I asked this not so long back and it started a war with people saying it leads to problems etc etc, and some saying Seat wouldnt just put it on for no reason and all that . . saying that, ive been without mine for about a month now because it kept coming unclipped then i done an oil change and couldnt get it back on by myself.

yeah mike i think it just stops stones and stuff flying up off the road and into the underside of the engine which could cause problems....most of the stones will fall back down but if your unlucky, some might get caught and cause problems.

What can the stones get caught on though, and as for people saying it protects your sump, if you hit something hard enough ior a big rock flings up, a crappy bit of thin plastic isnt goin to stop it :D

tbf the way the plastic is shaped will allow certain objects to skim only the plastic and its not that thin either imo...its a good 5mm thick.

If you hit something hard enough it still wont stop your sump ripping off, it will help slightly, youll just have to be a bit more careful if you run without the tray, simples :)
