Tyres, any opinions?

Hi guys,

I need two new front tyres, MOT next month...

I am at a cross roads of what to go for... What would you go for?

195/65R15 91V

I found, fitted prices;

Continental Premium Contact - £68.83 each

Nexen N2000 - £51.51 each

Toyo Proxes CF1 - £55.62 each

Bridgestone ER300 - £61.14 each

Goodyear Eagle NCT5 - £61.92 each

Yokohama C.Drive - £61.76 each

I was tempted by the Yokohama ones, but never head them mentioned on here at all, what would you lot recommend?

Its only for my 110 TDi SE, so it's not major performance..

Cheers,

Ben

theres hundreds of threads on here about tyres mate, do a search! also loads of tyre comparison websites which give you good views on different aspects of tyres - wet, dry, aquaplaning etc...

as for yokohama, as far as ive heard they are quite soft tyres so if you get a set, dont be expecting them to last forever!

Id say the toyos sound good at that money to be honest

tyretest.com is a pretty good website for getting reviews on tyres - i personally like Falken FK452s. good performance for the price...although Toyo's have slightly better performance in the dry, the Falkens are far better in icy and snowy conditions as i recently found out!
