but for the genral public better tyres on the front it correct this is differnt on the fwd cars.
I don't want to seem like I'm giving you a hard time, but it is always best tyres on the rear (why would the 'general public' be any different?). All motoring organisations, tyre companies, chassis specialists will tell you this. You have just seen Vicky Butler Henderson explain it in the video. I don't know why you keep trying to argue the point?

The physics illustrated in the video are a weight-shift from the back to the front which causes the rear tyres to lose traction. Have you shown this video to your Dad?

Well, there is a saying: "You can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink..."

I have given you all the information I can but if you are going to believe one person (your dad) over every other piece of evidence then there isn't a lot I can do.

Where's Willie when I need someone who knows a thing or two about chassis dynamics to lend a hand?!

Definately a fan, isn't everyone? Strange though cos I know she's not even that hot.

Does anyone ever use those white pens anymore to write over the tyre make?

I think it must be the fact that you could talk to her about cars and she'd actually enjoy it rather than the usual "Is there one day you don't talk about cars!?". Maybe that only happens to me though...
