You want low down grunt, and a higher top speed, buy a pd130 fr ibiza, will also be cheaper tax, insurance and fuel bills. ;)

Guys, he has just bought this one :p

Id say zorst, induction kit, and as said brakes, lowering etc.

Look for Golf GTI 2.0 bits and pieces as its the same engine.

Thanks T Spark,

Like you said I literally bought this car yesterday:cry: !

So the engine in my SEAT is the same as in a golf? Any recommendations on zorst, brakes, lowering, inductions, suspension etc?]

Looking into K&N induction kit or panel filter not sure what is best?

Where should I start?

Any suggestions are make and models of filters and exhaust? Is it possible to put Seat Ibiza Cupra brakes onto a Seat Ibiza? Really like the look of the red brembo calipers?

Matt

If you mean the brakes from the mk4 cupra they are AP racing Seat Sport calipers not brembos (just nit picking really). I would imagine they'd fit but i'm just guessing really.

I suppose how much bhp you want as always matters how much you want to spend? The usuals are full exhaust (decat?), induction (or throttle bodies?), chip then turbo/superhcraging etc... an often overlooked option is weight reduction. Some lightweight wheels, remove sound proofing, carbon bonnet etc would help. Depends how far you want to go, you'll get better mpg with less weight too :) I thought the 8v was 115 bhp too.

the remap is worth it! it might be 10bhp but its still 10 extra websight i used states 12bhp gain! if MATTCOGG1981 gets a turbo on there then its definatly worth remap!!!!

I would like to get some sort of induction/filter sorted first of all but unsure of the pro's and cons. Next step would be exhaust but again not sure of what would be best? Can the AP calipers be bought seperately then fitted and are they worth it or is it better painting the original sets? Is this the case for alloys as well the Seat Ibiza Cupra one's are nice? I feel I want to turn my sport into a Cupra R look a like! Anyone got prices on any of the above?

What about a set of 312 mm TT calipers and discs? they are much better than the standard **** and not too badly priced either.

They fit alright, i and many many others have them fitted, and they will also fit under the standard sport and FR wheels aswell

Great website,

I have just e-mailed and I will wait to see what happens! The throttle bodies seem to be a good route to go down for my car. It insinuates you can get a huge increase in performance much more than an ECU re-map. What difference did the dyna twist make?

A induction kit will see a few bhp gain, maybe.. my noise difference than anything :D

As mentioned anything for your engine look into Golf 2.0 as chances are they wont be listed under Seat as not many were sold, so you have a very rare Seat Ibiza indeed!

Get some piccies up as soon as you can matey to!
