Old school thread for the win!

I take it that you have no mods?
Cheers

I've been on a 'modified' scheme for years now, it's an unlimited modification scheme so I can do what I want and it wont change :) and it doesnt seem to effect the cost if the car is modded or not.

paying around 600 quid

I've never heard of this. Is this with Brentacre Insurance then? Mine's due at the end of the month so will to start ringing around a few places. I hate it when the person on the other end of the line cant be bothered and just say sorry we cant match that quote without even taking any details from you, it really pi55ses me off as it takes you 30 mins to get through in the first place.

i'm with brentacre - fully recommend them.

They ask a few quick questions first and then usually will continue or say try again next year i.e. no ncd or recent crash etc.. so not wasting any ones time as you have to get a phone quote.

Personally think they are excellent, matched any genuine quote i could get PLUS you can mod almost anything except remap (costs more) so thing like exhuasts, air filters, splitters, alloys, coilovers, DV, etc are all free and don't invalidate cover providing YOU DECLARE THEM. It is frre to declare mod mid policy as well.

Another plus is they actually know what they are talking about when you mention things like 007p etc where alot of companies go blank and haven't a clue what the mods are you are telling them about are.

think mine was about 450-500 30yr 12NCD 0points - which was best by £50 i could find and i looked hard.

thats good to hear. i have approx 15yrs ncb, no accidents, claims or anything like that plus a clean license we get pee'd off when the brush you off. oh well, i have 2 weeks to relax before going mental with ringing companies up.
