Ok cool! is your cooler mounted as far back as it can go? I'm hoping for some good results, I won't have my APR stage 2 though by then but as the car is just now I can whip my mates 225 LCR ass!

yeah it cant go any further back but when you move the ac rad back be careful that you dont have it rubbing on any pipes mine was rubbing on an ac pipe and has now worn through. didnt know until the air con pissed itself. also had to mount the idle stabilizer thing. think that is what it was

Not that it's worth comparing, but....

A friend has installed the THS Type 3 to a 1999 Audi S3 remapped to 17psi boost.

Ambient temps were around 10 degrees c. IAT's did not go over 26 degrees c. on 4 consecutive 4th gear runs.

Although this cooler is much smaller than the type your fitting it showed very good cooling capabilities.

The same cooler will be installed on a LCR shortly. ;)

Must be good as I said it's a good core, wider than a forge therefore a chillier intercooler.
Yeah that lad had to take a bit off the towing eye, don't think he had to cut the cooler though?
My car will be on the rollng road on the 1st of December so I will post the results of the bhp figures

it does'nt look anywhere near as big a surface area as the forge item
