Are you sure yours isnt mapped? Sometimes i struggle with TypeR's and i'm circa 220bhp but obviously run out off puff quite early. What does yours boost to?

remapped you will beat Type R's every time, pull quite nicely from them,
a standard cupra would be other way round
you sure yours isnt mapped?

do 0-60 times really matter??????? everyone knows traction off the line in a cupra is totally pants but i dont think that matters at all as when do you even have a race off the line (apart from on a strip) very rarely anyway

more like 30 - 100+ imo

Well on many occasions, last nite again when at the A217 after Croydon cruise i race my mate in his DC5 Integra Type R. It is off the line and i do beat him. I brought my car from a garage. It's had one lady owner, i believe she was 38, she traded it in for a 330ci BMW.Considering everyone on here is supposed to be in love with ibiza, sum people can be quite negative. Plus my mates DC5 has induction kit and cat back exhaust. I'll try to get a video on my phone then blue tooth it to my pc and post it as i'm not driving to scotland to prove to sum1 so negative about an ibiza that it's faster!!! My mates are JAP VTEC LOVERS AND THEY ARE MORE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT IBIZA's THAN SUM PEOPLE ON HERE!!!!

And 40-100 he has no chance as if he isn't in VTEC when we both boot it i leave him. and i don't mean by 10 ft i'm talking quite a distance.

everyone on here do love their cars and are very enthusiastic about them mate, doesnt mean that we are blinded by what we can and cant beat on the road, depends on spec, driver, road etc ... and also what your racing (which should be on a private road, cough cough)

forgot to mention, i believe you about the integra Type R as i had a play with one the other night, he stopped and waited for me and the lights, then he booted it and i came up behind him and whipped him, he wasnt impressed at all, even stopped at the garage i stopped at to ask me about my car

Well thats what i'm saying, if it's a DC5 then they are more powerful than the civic as the engine in the teg has a different crank or summit and i believe it revs higher. I'm not saying mine is a skyline eater or anything and i have been and driven some stupidly fast cars ie. 550bhp supra, 400bhp escort cosworth, i was just trying to say i was suprised with how fast it is against one of the supposedly best hot hatches out at the moment. Sorry to get my knickers in a twist but i have had to prove so many times that mine is quicker than my mates integra it's just a bit boring now.

you dont need to prove it mate, as long as you know then who cares, its your car, not anyone elses
True. Telling my mate mine only had 156bhp nearly broke his heart!!!! then i said i wanted to get the JBS04 Turbo and with a few other things i'll be looking at 290bhp he shook his head and said "thats gonna be f*cking ridiculous!" He's a bit older than me had a focus ST170, Subaru Impreza WRX and now his DC5 and he thinks his DC5 is the quickest out of all of em and he is also a car salesman for Honda.

the DC5 probably will be the quickest out of them, ST170's are alright, RS is nicer tho, WRX is pooooooooooooooo and DC5 look and sound really nice

i would defo go IHI, plus if you get ihi its only 600quid for them to fit a good clutch when they do it (its not helix, cant remember the name of the clutch they use tho)

Ok, well as i said i need to do some hard saving as last nite a corsa and a nova beat me so that hopefully won't happen with 300bhp. they were 2ltr 16v with throttle boddies and stripped, the nova even had perspex windows.

a corsa? what engine did that have in?

2l nova will be FAST, like sticking a turbocharged engine into a shoe box, theirs nothing to them, would NEVER have one tho
