You have to get the power thru the transmission and to all 4 wheels so u lose alot of the power but your probly right!

Well I did look at the spec and the standard they do a 205bhp, 225 and a 240.

The 205 is the same spec as bhp and torque as a mapped Biza and weighs more lol

instead of using the maf to get bhp just look at its value on its own...if it makes it to 150s/160s (g/s)...u know it was worthwhile

i have values between 150-160 g/s but my car still seem slow, so i think "high" maf values doesn't always mean good power

it dont, it was more of an indication of the map by using the means of vagcom, as pointed out earlier in the thread u cant really use maf values to get the power cos theres many other things to cause problems.....heatsoak...boost leak...neither of which will affect the mafs values...

this could be why ur car seems slow...ofcourse it might just be ur expectations

if it was accurate...id of had 220bhp without half the mods iv got now, and i still dont have a front mounted intercooler....not very believable really

with regards to rollers in this area, iv never seen an ibiza make over 200bhp without an fmic of some kind. its just the way it is...it could have been a very good day for u...or the rollers could have been completely inaccurate...who wins

Going back to an earlier thread, my ibiza is standard, not only is it quicker than my mates civic type R it is also quicker to 100mph than my mate integra typre r which is 220bhp. And they are good drivers!

They really aren't. The funny thing is most of my mates a VTEC lovers and for them seeing me go past is heartbreaking. Another mate with a Civic Type R with a supposed 230bhp so racing cams and full decat system couldn't get away from me. The race was on a single carriage way so i couldn't get past him!!! Remember there power only starts to come in around 6000rpm, i'm glued to the back of my seat by 2500rpm!!!!

Don't worry there is more than just rero being done to it. I'm looking into getting the JBS04 Turbocharger. they quote 290bhp. But before that i need suspension, Team Dynamics Black 5 spokes n Big Brembo's. But atm i'm a bit skint. Got to do it bit by bit!!! Turbo will be a long way in the future!!!

guys i dont want to spoil the party here but a standard civic type r is alot faster then a standard cupra- look at any performacne figures and you will see the civic is 5.5s quicker to 100! lets be realistic we have fast cars but they are not in the same league as the type r wehn standard

Well my mates Integra is 6.2 and mine kills it!!!
