no way, whats the point in hangin around?! well stage 2 seems pretty awesome. much smoother than stage 1, power covers much more of the rev range...time to start saving for stage 3!!

Still on stage 2, looking at the different options for going stage 3, anyway, got the car on a rr on fri:

pretty similar to what superchips claim on their power curve picture on the bluefin website for the cupra at stage 2- 321bhp and around 315 lb ft,
although most of the results ive seen from other superchips stage 2 cupras and ed 30s are never as high. I know everyone says its dyno lottery, and the figures are pub talk etc, but what about the curves themselves, they ok? they seem pretty similar to ones on the sperchips pic but not really sure if thats good or what?

Went stage 3 yesterday. Autotech pump internals and an rs4 fuel regulator valve with a custom map from a local tuner called torque tronix.
They use a dyno hub, so take the wheels off and bolt the hubs straight to the dyno. They got me at 292bhp at the start of the day when i was running stage 2 superchips- more like what youd expect than the rolling road print out i got of it a few months back, 320bhp on superchips was always optimistic.
Anyway, after fitting the pump and valve, they started the custom map and its now 357bhp. Drives very different and havent really had a chance to go nuts with it yet cause of the weather, but it feels much smoother

thanks yaz. Its def worth the swap. I was originally thinking of doing a ko4 upgrade on the fr but the cupra's definately a better choice. I would never have been that confident with stage 3 on a k04 with the standard internals on the fr. And you definately need the s3 brakes on the cupra with that sort of power. I say go for it, you only live once

Just round the corner.
How much has it cost you mate? I've had mine RR'd on two differnt rollers and both gave 297bhp. As far as I know mine's only a stage 1. Been looking at getting RS4 injectors and fuel pump. Then having her remapped.
