Found them on a German site for £229 without delivery, out of curiosity how much did you pay?

They look good although for some reason I cant activate my fogs as drls (Scandinavian mode) using vagcom.

If I switch the drl mode on in vagcom both front and rear sidelights come for some reason.

Car is a Ibiza 6J 62 plate.

hi these are double replacement fogs with the drl's wired not via the canbus , so you can have drl or fog but not both

the drl is on the outside the fog in the center
so DRL

now those of us who have had an earlier leon or mk4 golf may have done the "W8 light " mod , this is a unit with 2 small beam LED's that point down into the car , giving a submarine red glow once the head lights are on

i have always wanted that in the Altea & after a couple of false starts i think i am getting there in spite of a hail storm half way thru

i am using focused lens LED's that push the light down into the car rather than all round

& a clear flush LED clip

its wired into the grey wire on the back of the light switch so comes on when you turn the lights on

all i need to do now it try it at night !

hi there if i can be of help no problem !

the tweet sits lower down the A pillar as higher up it is in the way of the air bag, mounting depth is about 2 cm max , i spent as you can see from the pix earlier in the thread time working out where was best , as high up without hitting anything , then used a hole cutter to make the hole , be careful of the cloth trim when you cut !

feed the wires down each side i put the crossovers on either side of the car under the dash , as i have cut into the speaker loom behind the headunit , so the amps feed the crossovers & then the " mid" frequency connects into the headunits side of the speaker plug where it connects to the original speaker out socket & then goes to the doors to feed the mids , i have cut thru the feed tweeter loop wire on the connector at the back of each speaker so the original tweeter is not connected , but in the future i can rip it all our and get two new A pillar trims off ebay put back the original HU and speakers & it will all be factory

hope that helps

Mac is removing the A Pillar easy and quick to do? with no damage to air bag system? once the pillars are off the holes should be simple enough for me to do and mounting them.

any instructions on removing the pillars?
